ينظّم اتحاد المصارف العربية بالتعاون مع اتحاد البورصات العربية ومركز فرانكفورت المالي (FMF) وبمشاركة صندوق النقد الدولي (IMF) واتحاد الأسواق المالية في أوروبا (AFME) مؤتمراً افتراضياً بعنوان "دعم البنوك المركزية لأسواق رأس المال في ظلّ جائحة كورونا" يومي 24 و25 آب 2020.
يسلّط هذا المؤتمر الضوء على واقع الأسواق المالية العربية، وخاصة أسواق رأس المال، وإجراءات تطويرها وتفعيلها وآليات التمويل الطويل الأجل في ظل انتشار فيروس كوفيد 19، والتركيز على دور المصارف المركزية العربية في تطوير وتفعيل أسواق رأس المال وتحفيز انخراط أكبر للشركات فيها.
وسيشارك في افتتاح هذا المؤتمر الشيخ محمد الجراح الصباح رئيس اتحاد المصارف العربية والدكتور جوزف طربيه رئيس الاتحاد الدولي للمصرفيين العرب والدكتور محمد فريد صالح رئيس اتحاد البورصات العربية والرئيس التنفيذي للبورصة المصرية، والسيد Hubertus Väth العضو المنتدب في مركز فرانكفورت المالي، إلى جانب عدد من القيادات المالية والاقتصادية العربية والدولية ومحافظي البنوك المركزية.
The Union of Arab Banks (UAB) in cooperation with the Arab Federation of Exchange (AFE) and the Frankfurt Main Finance (FMF) will organize an online conference entitled “The Role of Central Banks in Supporting Capital Markets amid COVID- 19 Crises”, on August 24 and 25, with the participation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME).
This conference will shed light on the status of Arab financial markets, specifically capital markets, the required procedures for developing and further activating their role, and the long-term financing mechanisms, in light of the spread of the Covid-19 virus, focusing on the role of Arab central banks in developing and activating capital markets and stimulating a greater involvement of private companies in the sector.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Sheikh Mohamed Jarrah Al-Sabah, Chairman of Union of Arab Banks (UAB), Dr. Joseph Torbey, Chairman of World Union of Arab Bankers (WUAB), Dr. Mohamad Farid Saleh, Chairman of Arab Federation of Exchanges (AFE) & Executive Chairman of The Egyptian Stock Exchange, and Mr. Hubertus Väth, Managing Director of Frankfurt Main Finance (FMF), Germany, in addition to a number of Arab and international financial and economic leaders and experts.
